Korrvu® Suspension & Retention Packaging

Retention is useful when film can conform around a product and hold it firmly against the supporting frame. Suspension is useful when the product should be positioned between film layers with clearance from the outer walls. Neither label guarantees protection: the part must fit the intended frame, and projections, controls, cables or fragile surfaces must not be loaded in damaging ways.

For broader protection choices, compare specialty shipping boxes. If the product requires electrostatic controls, use a documented ESD packaging system rather than assuming resilient film provides anti-static or shielding performance.

Measure the protected product, not only its nominal device size, and verify every inner assembly, accessory divider and outer carton included with the exact product. Form the corrugated frame along its intended scores, position the item as instructed and confirm that the film applies stable, even restraint without excessive stress.

Close and test a representative package with the actual product, accessories, tape and shipping route. Confirm clearance after closure and inspect film and corrugated components before reuse. Repeated-drop, surface-protection or reuse claims must come from exact product documentation and representative testing; they should not be inferred from the retention or suspension name alone.
