3/16-Inch Insulated Air-Bubble Pallet Covers and Box Liners
Insulated pallet covers and box liners add a passive air-bubble layer around temperature-sensitive loads. The 3/16-inch material is formed as pallet covers in 48 by 40-inch footprints with 48- or 60-inch heights, plus box liners in cube and rectangular sizes. Choose the format from the load geometry and closure plan.
Fit the Cover or Liner Without Large Gaps
For a pallet cover, measure the completed load footprint and height, including overhang and top profile. A 48 by 40 by 48-inch cover suits a different loaded height than the 48 by 40 by 60-inch version. Avoid forcing a small cover over sharp corners or leaving excess material where it can snag during handling.
Box liners include sizes such as 6-, 8-, 10-, 12-, 14-, 16- and 18-inch cubes, along with rectangular formats up to 24 by 18 by 18 inches. Compare the liner dimensions with the box interior and finished packout. Coolant, product and cushioning must fit without preventing the liner or carton from closing as designed.
Treat the Material as Passive Insulation
The air-bubble layer slows heat transfer but does not actively cool the load, create a temperature guarantee or replace a validated coolant plan. Seams, openings, gaps and compression affect performance. The material is also not a universal waterproof enclosure; closure design and damage can allow exposure.
For temperature-sensitive goods, establish the payload range, route, duration, seasonal conditions and coolant arrangement. Test the complete load, including the pallet cover or lined carton, through representative distribution. Labels should remain visible and the cover should not interfere with pallet handling. Revalidate after changing load height, liner size, coolant, route or season.

Insulated Pallet Covers & Box Liners FAQs
What material thickness is used?
The insulated pallet covers and box liners use 3/16-inch air-bubble material.
What pallet-cover heights are offered?
The 48 by 40-inch footprint is offered with 48- and 60-inch heights.
Do insulated covers actively cool a load?
No. They provide passive insulation and require a validated coolant plan when cooling is needed.
Are the covers waterproof?
No general waterproof claim should be made because openings, seams, closure and damage affect exposure.
