TerraBoard™ Mailers for Flat and Expanding Contents

TerraBoard™ mailers use a firm kraft board structure to protect compatible books, apparel, accessories, printed materials and other products that benefit from more support than a flexible envelope provides. Flat, expansion and jumbo styles accommodate different content thicknesses without defaulting to a conventional box.

Choose the Style from Product Thickness

Flat TerraBoard mailers suit thin products that need board support without added depth. Expansion styles create room for books, folded apparel, stacked documents or other thicker contents. Jumbo formats extend the concept to larger flat merchandise and printed pieces.

The dimensions shown for these mailers are outside dimensions. Allow for the board thickness, seams and the depth of the product when estimating usable space. A flat item that matches the listed outside size may still be too large for the interior.

Fit matters to protection. An undersized mailer can stress the edges and closure; an oversized mailer can allow the product to slide or contact corners. Use the smallest style that loads comfortably and controls movement without forcing the contents.

Board Support Is Different from Cushioning

TerraBoard construction adds stiffness and surface support, but it is not an impact-cushioning system. Fragile, sharp, heavy or highly finished products may need wrapping, corner protection or another package format after testing.

Recycled-content specifications are listed at the product level and should be checked for the exact mailer being purchased. Keep any supporting sustainability documentation needed for your program with the SKU record rather than assuming one specification applies to every size or future addition.
