Flat Mailers

2. Allow for Thickness Use a gusseted or larger format if a stack of materials adds meaningful depth.

3. Choose Board Thickness The current assortment spans several chipboard gauges plus paperboard. Compare the item specification for the rigidity you need.

4. Choose Closure & Opening Select self-seal, standard, utility, gusseted, or side-loading construction around the packing workflow.

Flat products can be awkward to ship in oversized cartons because excess interior space allows movement and often requires additional packing material. A flat mailer creates a more product-specific package for documents, photos, prints, certificates, and similar items.

Packaging HERO's current category includes chipboard in several gauges as well as paperboard. Styles include self-seal, standard flat, utility, gusseted, and side-loading mailers, so buyers can choose both the material stiffness and the loading method. Flat mailers are not universal protection for every artwork or document shipment. High-value, fragile, crush-sensitive, or heavily handled items may require corrugated construction, additional stiffeners, cushioning, or a secondary outer package. Chipboard and paperboard provide more structure than a conventional paper envelope for compatible flat items. Several chipboard thicknesses let buyers compare rigidity across the assortment. Gusseted formats accommodate thicker document stacks and flat merchandise. Kraft, white, and black options support different identification and presentation needs.
