Stand-Up Barrier Pouches for Shelf-Ready Presentation

Stand-up pouches use a bottom gusset that expands as the package is filled, creating a broad base for display. The format combines efficient unfilled storage with strong shelf presence, while available film constructions, windows, zippers and heat-seal features support different presentation and protection goals.

Select the Pouch by Filled Shape

The pouch's listed width, height and gusset do not directly equal usable product volume. Powders, granules, snacks and irregular pieces settle differently, so compare the filled product's bulk density and profile. Leave room for the zipper to close and for a clean heat-seal area when a top seal will be applied.

A pouch stands best when the product distributes weight into the opened gusset. Very light, rigid or top-heavy items may not create the same stable display. Filling trials are the most reliable way to evaluate shelf stance, headspace and presentation.
