Use natural nylon for general indoor bundling, colored ties for visual routing, UV-stabilized black nylon for outdoor exposure and releasable ties where the bundle must be reopened. Write-on ties combine fastening and identification. Metal-detectable ties support contamination-control systems, while stainless steel is intended for harsher temperature, chemical or mechanical conditions when the exact grade and specifications fit.

Jumbo ties add length, width and higher listed tensile strength for larger bundles. Beaded ties provide a slim, lightweight loop and may be releasable or one-time-use depending on the product. No cable tie should be treated as a lifting sling, load-securement strap or certified security seal unless the exact product documentation expressly supports that use.

Measure around the complete bundle and allow enough tail for insertion and tensioning. Confirm the tie width fits mounts, slots and clearances. Check temperature, sunlight, moisture and chemical exposure against the exact material rather than assuming every nylon tie behaves alike.

Apply only enough tension to hold the bundle without crushing insulation, tubing or product. Flush-cut permanent ties with the proper tool so sharp tails do not remain. Where installation consistency matters, match the tie and tensile range to a compatible tensioning and cutting tool.
