Industrial reinforced strapping tape combines pressure-sensitive adhesive with reinforcing filaments. Listed clear rolls are 60 yards long and range from 3/8 inch through 3 inches wide. Individual products carry different tensile values, so width alone cannot identify the appropriate tape for bundling or carton reinforcement. Narrow tape can concentrate force and suit small bundles, while wider tape spreads contact across more surface. Multiple tensile values can appear at the same width, including 1/2-inch items with substantially different listed figures. Use the SKU specification rather than assigning one strength to every roll of a given size. The tensile figure describes the tape under a defined test. It does not establish the maximum weight of a bundle or carton. Number of wraps, overlap, load shape, surface adhesion, corners and handling determine the finished result. Trial the complete unit and document the chosen tape and wrap pattern. Use a compatible strapping tape dispenser to control payout and cutting. Keep the tape flat, press the adhesive into full contact and avoid twisting the reinforced backing. Protect sharp corners and do not pull so tightly that the tape damages cartons or products. Use reinforced tape within a package design that already supports the contents. It should not be represented as a universal replacement for steel or plastic strapping, and it does not provide a certified load restraint by itself. Inspect stored or transported bundles for edge lift, abrasion or product movement before standardizing the method. Listed widths range from 3/8 inch through 3 inches. Yes. The listed industrial reinforced rolls are 60 yards long. No. Different constructions at the same width can carry different listed tensile figures. No. Validate the full bundle, wrap pattern, overlap and handling conditions.
