Air Specialty Labels combine several different air-shipping and aviation workflow marks. Stock examples include Cargo Aircraft Only, Air Excepted Quantities, cryogenic-liquid, overpack, lithium-battery, radioactive-excepted-package, UN3373 Biological Substance Category B and Rush AOG messages. Air-shipping and aviation labels serve different purposes: some are regulated transport marks, while others communicate operational priority. Some are regulated transport marks while Rush AOG is an operational aviation-priority message. Air transport requirements can differ substantially from highway or ground-parcel rules. Before applying Cargo Aircraft Only, excepted-quantity, lithium-battery, biological-substance, cryogenic-liquid or radioactive markings, confirm that the shipment meets the current DOT and applicable air-transport requirements for that marking. The Rush AOG - Aircraft On Ground label is different. It is a logistics-priority message used to call attention to aircraft-on-ground urgency; it does not establish a hazardous-material classification or carrier service level. Regulated labels such as Cargo Aircraft Only, UN3373, Overpack and excepted-quantity markings should be used only when the shipment meets the applicable requirements, while operational labels such as Rush AOG communicate handling priority. Air-shipping and aviation labels can include regulated transportation markings as well as operational priority messages such as Rush AOG. It identifies packages that are restricted to cargo aircraft when the applicable dangerous-goods rules require that label. Yes. Biological Substance Category B / UN3373 stock formats are represented in the assortment. No. It communicates operational urgency but does not itself purchase or guarantee a carrier service.
