Anti-static pick-and-pack foam is pre-scored into removable squares so packers can create a fitted cavity without custom cutting equipment. The soft polyurethane foam conforms around components while helping reduce charge generation in compatible ESD applications. Place the component over the foam to mark its footprint, then remove only enough pre-scored squares to create a close, nonbinding fit. Leave foam between the product and every case wall, and avoid tight contact against switches, leads or fragile connectors. A removable-cube sheet is especially useful for prototypes, short runs and tool cases with changing contents. Smaller squares allow finer cavity detail around compact or irregular shapes. Larger squares make cavity preparation faster for broad outlines. Foam depth determines how much of the product can sit below the surface; tall items may need layered sheets or a top cushion to prevent movement. Pink color identifies the anti-static construction but does not prove electrical performance. Verify the exact foam's surface resistance, charge-generation behavior, storage conditions and service life against the component's ESD-control plan. Anti-static foam does not provide the same function as a static shielding enclosure and does not replace grounded workstations or personnel controls. When shielding is required, use the fitted foam inside the specified shielding package or conductive container. Trace the product footprint and remove the pre-scored squares needed for a close fit without binding. Smaller squares give finer shape control; larger squares speed cavity preparation for simple outlines. Add one when needed to control vertical movement without applying harmful pressure. No. Use a documented shielding enclosure when the component requires one. We can help compare square size, foam depth and the surrounding ESD packaging system.Anti-Static Pick-and-Pack Foam for Custom Cavities
