Listed dimensions are outside dimensions, so the available interior decreases as the product becomes thicker. Measure the item after adding sleeves or edge protection. Leave room for easy loading, keep rigid corners away from the seams and ensure the flap reaches its sealing surface without tension.

The internal air-cell layer helps manage surface contact and routine impact for compatible products. It does not make the mailer rigid. Compare the broader cushioned mailer selection when a different exterior, closure or cushioning thickness is more appropriate.

Keep the adhesive area clean and dry until the final packing step. Remove the release liner, align the flap and press across the complete seal. Check that the contents do not push outward on the closure and that the kraft exterior is not torn, wet or creased through the seam area.

A self-seal closure is not automatically tamper-evident, waterproof or suitable for every weight. Isolate points and hardware that could puncture the envelope. When bending, crushing or high-value protection is the main concern, use a corrugated mailer or box and validate the finished package before shipment.
