Heavy-duty folding cartons use 36-point chipboard for a heavier paperboard option while retaining a reverse-tuck, flat-storing design. The kraft cartons cover narrow, square and rectangular dimensions, with selected products packed 250 or 500 cartons per case. Choose them when standard folding-carton construction does not fit the product trial. Thirty-six point describes the nominal chipboard thickness, not a universal product-weight, drop or stacking rating. Product shape, concentrated loads, carton dimensions, closure and handling all affect performance. A tall 2 by 2 by 9-inch carton behaves differently from a 4-inch cube even though both use the same material family. Measure the product and all inserts, then allow enough clearance for loading and flap movement. The carton should form squarely without bulging at the seams. Use internal support when a narrow or heavy item would otherwise concentrate force on one panel. Case quantities vary, so confirm the exact size when planning storage and usage. The natural kraft finish provides a different appearance from white paperboard and can suit products where an unbleached look is preferred. Color does not establish recycled content, recyclability or food-contact suitability. Use only material claims documented for the exact product and intended use. Heavy-duty folding cartons are still paperboard retail cartons rather than corrugated shipping boxes. Add suitable cushioning and an outer shipper when parcel handling, compression or impact requires more protection. Compare standard reverse-tuck cartons when lighter construction fits the product. Trial the complete package before standardizing a size or changing from another carton. The documented heavy-duty cartons use 36-point kraft chipboard. Yes. They are folding cartons formed at the packing station. No. Validate the complete carton with the actual product and handling method. Not automatically. Add an appropriate corrugated outer box when needed. Packaging HERO can help you compare heavy-duty carton dimensions, case quantity and product fit.36-Point Kraft Heavy-Duty Reverse-Tuck Cartons
