“Keep Frozen” and “Keep Refrigerated” describe an ongoing handling condition. “Freeze Upon Arrival” and “Refrigerate Upon Arrival” direct the receiver to take action after delivery. “Protect From Freezing” identifies the opposite risk, while “Perishable” communicates urgency without specifying an acceptable temperature range.

Use the exact instruction approved for the product and keep it consistent with purchase orders, packing documents and internal procedures. For related packaging formats, review temperature-sensitive mailers, but confirm the complete system against the required duration and conditions.

Choose a size and color that remain visible on the outer package, cooler or pallet. Apply labels to clean, dry surfaces away from closures, barcodes and areas likely to be covered during unitization. Consider multiple sides for larger shipments or loads transferred between facilities.

A climate label does not cool, heat, insulate or monitor a shipment. It also does not prove that a temperature range was maintained. Use validated insulation, refrigerants, qualified shipping methods and temperature indicators or data loggers when the product and governing procedure require them.
