Measure the product after collating, binding, bagging, wrapping and adding chipboard pads or inserts. Allow enough clearance for loading without letting a book, catalog or kit shift across the broad panels. When several pieces share the mailer, control the stack so a small component cannot migrate to an edge or interfere with closure.
