Easy-Fold Mailers for Books and Variable-Depth Flat Products

Easy-fold corrugated bookfolds wrap around books, catalogs, framed pieces and other flat products. Multiple score lines let the mailer adjust to compatible product thicknesses, while jumbo, fold-over and deluxe styles address different sizes and presentation needs. Choose the footprint first, then confirm the scored depth range and closure process.

Match the Footprint and Wrapped Thickness

Measure length and width after pads, sleeves, corner protection or retail packaging are applied. Keep the product within the scored panel area so folds do not press on edges. Compare the finished thickness with the intended score positions and leave enough material for the panels to overlap and close squarely.

When a product fits a formed enclosure with a consistent depth, compare literature mailers. Easy-fold construction is most useful when one footprint serves repeat thicknesses and the packer can select the correct score without damaging the contents.

Standardize Folding and Closure

Train packers to center the product, fold at matching scores and keep corners from protruding. Uneven folds can create loose panels, exposed edges and inconsistent tape surfaces. Use the approved tape or adhesive pattern and keep labels away from seams that can flex during handling.

Single-wall corrugated adds face and edge structure, but the large panels may still flex around thin or fragile products. Add rigid pads or corner protection where testing shows a need. Style names such as jumbo or deluxe do not establish a universal strength or maximum product weight; validate the exact finished pack.
