Place the locking head where it will not rub against adjacent surfaces or interfere with service access. Tighten enough to prevent movement, but avoid crushing cable jackets, hoses or soft materials. Cut the remaining tail flush with a proper cable-tie cutter. Diagonal cutters can leave a sharp edge that scratches installers or nearby components. Do not use nylon ties for lifting, life-safety support or load securement unless the exact product is specifically rated for that purpose.
