Poly strapping tools include manual tensioners for 1/2- to 3/4-inch strap and width-specific sealers for 1/2- or 5/8-inch systems. Choose each tool from the strap material, width, thickness and closure style. A tool that handles a width range may still be limited by strap construction or joint hardware. The listed industrial and deluxe tensioners cover nominal 1/2- to 3/4-inch poly strap. Available sealers are separate tools in 1/2- and 5/8-inch versions. A tensioner tightens and cuts the strap according to its design; the sealer then crimps the compatible metal seal. Select the strap first, then confirm the tensioner range and exact seal. The 1/2-inch deluxe sealer is a different item from the 5/8-inch deluxe sealer, and industrial models are also width-specific. Tool names do not establish compatibility with every polypropylene, polyester or cord product. Standardize the strap SKU, seal SKU, tensioning tool, sealer and work instruction at each station. During trials, check strap alignment, package deformation, joint placement and resistance to handling. Revalidate after changing any component or using a different strap thickness. Record the approved setup at each workstation. Inspect tools for wear and damage, keep moving parts maintained, and train operators to avoid pinch points. Stand clear of recoil when tensioned strap is cut or released. Use edge protection where tension could damage cartons or products, and never use poly strap for lifting. Listed tensioners cover nominal 1/2- to 3/4-inch poly strap. The listed sealers are width-specific at 1/2 or 5/8 inch. Only when the manufacturer documents that exact material and strap range. Alignment and a complete crimp affect joint consistency. Packaging HERO can help match poly strap, seals, tensioners and sealers into one compatible system.Poly Strapping Tensioners and Sealers by Width
