Pouch Tape Pads

Use the 5 × 6-inch 3M 830 pad for documents that fit within its clear-window layout. Choose the 6 × 10-inch 3M 832 when the paperwork requires the larger footprint. Confirm the usable window and adhesive border, not only the outside pouch dimensions, before standardizing a form.

Keep the document flat and fully inside the window so addresses, barcodes and handling information remain visible. Folding a document can place critical print under a crease or adhesive edge. Run a scanner test using the actual paperwork, printer, pouch and lighting.

A 25-pouch pad can move with an operator or shipping cart and does not require a roll dispenser. Plan case yield from 1,000 pouches per case before setup loss. Protect open pads from dust, moisture and bent edges so the adhesive border and clear window remain usable.

Apply each pouch to a clean, dry, compatible package surface and press the adhesive border evenly. Compare 5 × 6-inch pouch-tape rolls when a fixed station needs continuous supply. A clear pouch helps cover paperwork but does not waterproof the complete package or guarantee scan performance.
