Wholesale Suffocation Warning Labels

The two label sizes are not interchangeable versions of the same item. Their printed messages differ, so review the complete text shown for the SKU against the applicable customer, marketplace, product and destination requirement. Do not shorten, paraphrase or select wording only because a label fits the available space.

A larger label can improve visibility but still needs a suitable placement area. A smaller label may fit compact packaging but cannot be assumed acceptable for every program. Check print legibility on the finished package, including after the bag is filled, folded or sealed.

Apply the label to a clean, dry and compatible surface. Film treatment, texture, dust, moisture, temperature and handling can affect adhesion. Trial the exact bag or package material and confirm that the label does not lift, wrinkle or migrate during the expected distribution period.

Keep the warning away from seams, folds, closure tape, product graphics and shipping labels. A printed label communicates a warning but does not provide child resistance, tamper evidence or package security. Compare preprinted warning poly bags when combining the message and bag would simplify the packing process. Revalidate when requirements or packaging change.
