Clear Acrylic Label Protection Tape in 4-, 5- and 6-Inch Widths

Clear label-protection tape provides wide roll coverage for compatible shipping labels and printed documents. Every roll is 72 yards long and uses acrylic adhesive. Four-inch choices include 1.8- and 2-mil constructions; 5- and 6-inch products use a 2-mil construction.

Match Width to the Printed Area

Choose enough width to cover the label while maintaining adhesive contact on a clean package surface around it. Four-inch rolls fit narrower layouts, while 5- and 6-inch rolls support broader coverage. Do not bridge a carton seam, deep corrugation or unsupported edge if it prevents flat contact.

The 4-inch, 1.8-mil tape is offered in 6- and 18-roll cases. Four-inch, 2-mil tape also has 6- and 18-roll cases. The 5- and 6-inch, 2-mil products are packed 12 rolls per case. Mil describes construction thickness, not scanning or adhesive performance.

Apply Without Obscuring the Label

Clean and dry the package surface, align the tape and press evenly to avoid wrinkles or trapped air. Keep adhesive and fingerprints away from the printed area. Test barcode and address readability with the actual printer, label stock, scanner angle and lighting used in the shipping process.

Pair 4- or 6-inch rolls with a compatible label-protection tape dispenser after verifying core and roll dimensions. Clear tape covers the label area but does not guarantee carrier acceptance, waterproof the carton or protect against every abrasion. Acrylic adhesive compatibility still requires a package-surface trial.
