Preformed air bubble bags surround small parts, accessories and finished goods without measuring or cutting roll stock at every pack. They combine a cushioning air-cell layer with a ready-to-fill pouch, helping standardize protection at busy stations. Measure the product at its widest and longest points, including projections, then allow room for thickness and easy insertion. A pouch that is too tight can stress seams or compress the air cells; excessive space lets the item move and wastes material. Sharp corners should be capped or covered before insertion. Air bubble pouches are an inner protective layer, not a substitute for a suitable shipping carton or mailer. Add blocking or void fill when the pouch can move inside the outer package. For charge-sensitive electronics, use anti-static air bubble pouches only when their documented properties match the ESD plan; anti-static cushioning is not the same as static shielding. Flush-cut pouches have an open edge; self-seal pouches add a flap with an adhesive closure. Allow for product length, width, depth and easy loading without stretching the seams. Usually the pouch serves as inner cushioning and needs an outer package suited to the shipment. Not always. Cover sharp points or choose a more puncture-resistant construction. We can help compare pouch dimensions, closure styles and cushioning constructions.Air Bubble Bags and Pouches for Fast Packing
