Carpet and Surface Protection

Match the exact product’s suggested use to carpet, glass, cabinets or countertops. Surface texture, coating, cure time and cleanliness can affect adhesion and removal. Test a small inconspicuous area first and follow restrictions for newly finished, delicate, porous, wet, dirty or heated surfaces.

For protecting products in storage or shipment rather than floors and installed surfaces, review foam sheets. Temporary adhesive film is designed for a documented surface and exposure period; it is not a universal wrap or long-term outdoor covering.

Choose width from the area and overlap plan, then apply the film smoothly without wrinkles that can create trip points or trapped debris. Keep edges secure according to instructions and inspect the protection during use. Film thickness helps distinguish products but does not alone predict puncture, slip or wear performance.

Observe the specified maximum dwell time and remove film within the approved temperature range using the recommended direction and speed. Extended exposure, sunlight, heat or incompatible coatings can affect residue or surface appearance. Temporary protection does not replace barriers, signage or safety controls required for the work area.
