Wholesale Arrow Labels

Arrow-only labels provide quick visual direction when the orientation requirement is already understood. Text-plus-arrow designs make the instruction more explicit, while “Top Heavy” identifies a stability concern rather than simply naming the top of the package. Do not substitute one message for another when the handling response differs.

If a load also has top-loading restrictions, use the appropriate message from top-load and top-only labels. An orientation label should support the written packing and shipping procedure, not serve as the only control for spill-prone, unstable or regulated contents.

Place matched labels on two opposing vertical sides with the arrows pointing toward the intended top. Keep them level, unobstructed and away from corners where part of the symbol could disappear. On tall or palletized loads, choose a format that remains readable from the normal approach distance.

Before labeling, confirm that the product is packed to tolerate normal transport movement even when kept upright. Up arrows communicate orientation, but they do not mechanically restrain the contents, establish carrier acceptance or guarantee that the package will remain upright throughout distribution.
