8 Mil Poly Bags

Available products are clear flat bags, not tubing or gusseted styles. Measure the protected product at its widest and longest points and reserve enough open material for closure. Avoid buying a large bag solely to gain capacity, since excess film can fold, snag and complicate labeling or handling.

Case quantities vary substantially across the listed dimensions. Smaller options may be packed at 500 per case, while larger formats can be packed at 250, 100 or 50. Use the exact product row when calculating storage space, reorder points and cost per bag rather than applying one case count to the entire selection.

Eight mil provides more material than 6 mil bags, but sharp metal, burrs, corners and concentrated loads can still puncture or stretch film. Protect those points and trial representative packs through the actual movement, storage and closure process.

Choose a closure compatible with the film and access needs. Confirm heat-sealer settings rather than copying a lighter-gauge setup. Eight mil polyethylene is not automatically airtight, waterproof, anti-static, VCI-treated or approved for regulated uses; verify every special property on the exact item documentation.
