Wholesale Bag Tape

Confirm tape width, roll diameter, core and winding compatibility before loading a bag taper. A roll may be the correct width but still feed poorly if its dimensions or unwind direction do not match the machine. For manual use, choose a dispenser that controls the narrow roll and produces a clean cut.

Tape closes the gathered neck; it does not seal the full bag opening. Leave enough film above the product to gather without pulling the contents into the closure. Thick, stiff or overfilled bags may need a wider-neck taper or a different closure method.

Bag film, dust, moisture, temperature and storage time can affect adhesion. Test the tape on the actual gathered neck and inspect whether the band remains closed through handling. If the package requires a documented permanent, leak-resistant or tamper-evident seal, use a closure designed and validated for that requirement.

Color can make closed bags easier to sort, but it does not replace required identification, warning or traceability labels. Pair the tape with a compatible Poly Bag Taper when speed and repeatability are the goal.
