Gusseted Poly Pallet Covers and Bin Liners

Poly pallet covers and bin liners use a three-dimensional gusseted shape to fit over loads or inside compatible containers. Clear and black choices are available in 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-mil constructions across many footprints and lengths. Accurate width, depth and height measurements matter more than a general pallet-size label.

Measure the Load in Three Dimensions

Read dimensions as width by depth by length and compare them with the fully loaded pallet or empty bin. Allow enough height to reach the intended lower edge, tie-off point or liner fold without pulling tightly over corners. Examples range from a 26 × 24 × 48-inch 3-mil cover through much larger formats for tall or broad loads.

A cover that is too small can split at the gussets or corners. An oversized cover can create loose material that snags during handling. For a bin liner, also account for the container walls, bottom, overhang and any material needed for closure. Confirm whether the stated dimensions are appropriate for the intended inside or outside fit.

Choose Color, Mil and Pack Quantity

Clear film supports visual identification of the load, while black film can help conceal contents. Neither color creates security or tamper evidence. One- through 4-mil options provide different handling candidates, but mil alone does not determine puncture resistance. Sharp corners, temperature, resin construction and operator method also affect performance.

Bags per roll vary by dimensions and mil, so verify the exact item when forecasting usage. Compare pallet top sheets when only the upper surface needs coverage. Pallet covers can help separate a load from dust, handling contact or light moisture exposure, but open bottoms, closures, tears and seams prevent a general waterproof claim.
