Measure the product after rolling or adding tissue, sleeves, end protection and other materials. Select a diameter that permits loading without scraping the surface or leaving excessive space. The product should remain clear of the end closures, and the chosen tube pair must cover the required finished length while maintaining the intended overlap.

For very long items requiring a wider adjustment range, compare adjustable heavy-duty mailing tubes. For common fixed-length rolled documents, standard round mailing tubes may provide a simpler pack.

Slide the sections together until the package fits the product and the joint retains its required overlap. Keep both sections aligned so the walls support one another around the full circumference. Secure the joint with a tape or label system suitable for the tube surface, weight and handling, and close both ends according to the product instructions.

A heavy-wall description does not establish a universal weight, bend resistance or stacking limit. Length, leverage, moisture, joint security and impact at the ends all affect performance. Test representative completed tubes and confirm carrier rules for long, round or irregular packages before standardizing the design.
