Panel-Face Packing List Envelopes

Panel-face packing list envelopes combine a printed document message with a clear viewing area. They help receiving personnel identify the pouch as shipping paperwork while leaving part of the packing slip, invoice or manifest visible.

A Middle Ground Between Clear and Full-Face Printing

The printed panel creates a consistent visual cue—such as “Packing List Enclosed”—without covering the entire front of the pouch. This is useful when the document itself carries a reference number, address, barcode or other information that should remain visible.

Panel colors can support recognition at the receiving dock, but color should supplement readable wording rather than become the only way a document is identified. Script and block-print treatments may also differ, so choose the message that will be easiest for the intended receiver to recognize.

Select for the Document, Opening and Package Surface

Document fit: Size the pouch for the flat or folded paperwork used at the station, allowing room to load it without buckling.

Panel visibility: Position the document so the information that matters remains in the clear area instead of behind the printed panel.

Opening direction: Match top- or side-loading access to the way operators handle documents and packages.

Adhesive contact: Apply to a clean, dry, reasonably flat area and test dusty, recycled, coated or cold packaging surfaces.
